LEGACY: The Ascension of Effort

The efforts of individuals count, even if they do not yield the expected result. If everyone just focused on results, they would have given up. It is essential to realize that it takes time and failures to make a change in one’s life, community and society This poster signifies that the ascending efforts of these specific people made the change they longed for.

People who made a difference in Black history were African-Canadians such as Francoise Baylis Dr. Joyce Ross, Keith Forde, and Austin Clarke. Effort requires consistency. This is what has been displayed by the people featured in this poster throughout their lives.

Question: What changes do you think a person needs to make in their live’s to become historically significant like the people profiled?
