LEGACY 2021: Resilience!

LEGACY 2021 celebrates resilient African-Canadians who have persevered during difficult times, odds and obstacles. In light of a world-wide pandemic, racial unrest and police brutality LEGACY Enterprises releases this poster with a message of endurance through hard times such as these.

Individuals such as business man Denham Jolly, women's advocate Meseret Haileyesus, icon of the labour movement Fred Upshaw, community activist Ekua Walcott, and nurses Beatrice Massop and Clotilda Douglas-Yakimchuk are featured on this poster.

All these individuals have stories of hope and triumph emerging from the tribulations of their lives. Given the times that we are presently living in, this poster is needed to be displayed in our schools, community centres and offices.

The poster is double-sided, bilingual , in full colour and 19*27 inches in size. It also includes a brief biography on each person. Each portrait was created using various artistic mediums (pencil drawing, pen and ink and oil paintings) culminating with our greatest poster ever.
